In 2008 Denby joined forces with fashion giant Monsoon to offer feminine and eclectic decorative designs on a stunning collection of exclusive statement tableware.
Monsoon, founded in 1973, have always championed creativity and craft. Informed by a passion for exploration and tempered by genuine concern for the world around us, they make the exotic accessible.
Combining beautiful fine china with distinctive patterns using original artworks from the Monsoon archive, we have interpreted these into stylish and contemporary collections. Here is an insight into our 10 year long collaboration Monsoon.
The Monsoon Denby partnership is born!
Monsoon arrive with two suitcases full of fabric and clothing to use as inspiration for the new ranges of tableware. Once a fabric had been selected it is scanned at high resolution and re-drawn by our design team making it suitable for fine china.

Chrysanthemum
The design for Chrysanthemum was influenced by a bold 19th century Japanese floral textile print in charcoal and gold.
Cosmic

Kitchen Collection: Antalya, Cordoba & Bettie*
The Kitchen Collection was a turning point for our design team. Now taking inspiration from Monsoon’s current fashion collections rather than their archives giving the ranges a new, fresh and more casual range and pushing the boundaries of mix and match.
The Kitchen Collection was made up of 3 ranges, Antalya, Cordoba and Bettie.

Filigree Silver
A delicate interpreattion of the traditional filigree pattern, this symmetrical design features shimmering silver on fine, soft cream china.
Gifting Collection
This collection was designed to offer a gifting solution for all occasions, with five sets available in our 4 most popular patterns.
Gather
Crafted from beautiful porcelain ceramics, Gather is delicate in design and and appearance but made to last. The soft muted tones of grey, pink. blue and green make it the perfect collection for a casual gathering.
Fleur
Our newest pattern, Fleur, is a modern take on a classic tableware story. The collection combines a contemporary cobalt blue shade with fine line work and a warm silver shimmer decoration.
The floral design has been styled across a carefully selected range of pieces to suit modern eating and entertaining styles.
